~Average 29/34MPG
~Only has 15,500 miles on it and is still under warranty until the end of February 2009
~Silver and Grey interior/exterior
~5 speed Manual, hatchback, CD player, outlets in dash, roof rack
One of the things that I think is great about this car is the ability to haul things. All of the passenger seats fold down so that you can fit items up to 8 feet long in the car! Also, there is a hard plastic backing on most of the seats to prevent damage to the interior. Rides great and handles great even in snow.
I would like to have the car through the first week of November, but this is very negotiable as is price

The details:
$5,800 obo
1996 Eagle Talon TSi AWD 5spd – Maroon
122,XXX miles on chassis (engine unknown)
Mechanically, the car’s in great shape. No weird suspension noises or movements, etc. Pulls really strong… I usually see between 32 and 34 lbs/min max airflow (20lbs of boost, pump gas, very minimal tuning).
Body - paint is in great condition for a 12-year-old car. It’s been garaged most of its life.. some paint chips on the hood and bumper, but it’s been clear-bra’d... there’s no oxidation. Windshield has a couple small chips in it, but no cracks.
Transmission - shifts perfectly, has a 4 spider center diff
Interior:
All leather in good condition, usual side burring of drivers seat
moon roof
stock CD player
working AC
PLX wideband and controller (wired for DSMLink)
Autometer gauge cluster with Defi boost and fuel pressure gauges
Engine:
6 bolt swap, no balance shafts
FP1 intake and exhaust cams
Exhaust:
ported EVO3 16g turbo
3in 02 housing to muffler tip including test pipe
high-flow cat
extra silencer for cat space
ported 2g exh manifold
Transmission:
Shifts perfectly
Fidanza flywheel
ACT 2600 clutch
4-spider center diff
B&M short shifter and associated bushings
Fuel:
DMSLink and socketed ECU, includes DSMLink cable and ownership transfer
ND 660 injectors (flow tested @ 740cc in 2006)
Aeromotive AFPR
Walbro 255HP fuel pump
Tires and brakes:
new Kumho tires
Porterfield R4-S brake pads all around
Good:
- New tires
- new tint
- timing belt is new, less than 3000 miles on it
- stock internals
- no shaft play on the turbo
- Relatively new clutch
- injectors were cleaned and got all new parts when the engine was swapped by previous owner (~120k miles, I think)
Bad:
- it has some annoying clutch chatter (not a big deal, but it kind of gets on my nerves)
- it leaks a little oil around the oil pan… could use to be re-sealed
- the Dejon big SMIC could probably use some nice custom ducting at some point
Any questions, please ask. I have more photos, too, if you're interested.

Few problems- a couple spots of rust, will eventually need clutch hydraulics replaced (the clutch hydraulic fluid leaks, so I occassionally top it off, which works just fine), passenger seatbelt does not fully extend out of the door, though I haven't had this checked out so it might be an easy fix, no hubcaps
This is my 2000 Ford Focus SE. I'm the second owner and have driven it for most of the cars life. All the mods where done by me or by professionals. The total value of the mods add up to easily $3000+ and considering the price of gas this is a steal. Heres the basic info:
Year: 2000
Color: Black
Miles: 116,xxx
Engine: 2.0l Ztech
Transmission: Auto (but chipped, shifts alot better than you'd expect)
GAS!: Runs on 85 Octane Easily and will get about 275-300 per tank (tank is 12 Gallons big). This will save you big bucks if you currently drive an SUV, Truck, or car with a V6+
The car is in really pretty good shape, as you can see theres a few dings in the pictures but they're really not that bad and easily fixed if you want. The engine runs strong and always has. I've never had an issue starting it ever and i'm sure this car will last to 250k miles. Over the 6 years i've done quite a few mods to the car, most of which actually enhanced the gas millage on it. So Heres what i've done:
Mods:
Black Altzeaa style tail lights
Black Front turn signals
Diamond Cut Floor mats
Strut Bar
Sprint 2.0 Drop (Thats Springs AND Shocks so no worries about the shocks failing)
Short ram Intake
2.5 in MPRB Exhaust (exhausts are rare for the sedans)
Chipped Transmission (adjusts how fast it shifts, stock the shifts feel laggy, this corrects this)
Cosmo Racing Under drive pulley
Z3 Style Fenders
Carbon Fiber Hood
euro style side mirrors
Focus Sport Spark Plug Wires
Custom made Ground Wire Setup (by a friend of mine with an electral engineering degree)
This is what the car also has for its audio setup: Clareion MP3/CD Deck (This deck is great just burn a 120 track CD in iTunes and throw it in and you don't need to change the CD for a month) Dual 12" Subs:
Bandpass Box
1 Rockford Fosgate Punch 2
1 Infinity 1000w
500 watt Legacy Audio amp
-----I Realize that some people might not want such a powerful sub setup, alot of my friends hate it. if you want me to remove it i'll leave the wires but remove the subs and amp. That way if you want you can always hook up your own setup later. I'll Also take 200 Off the price if you want me to remove the subs.
Needless to say, the car doesn't drive/sound/ride like any other focus. 0-40 Its faster than my friends Scion TC. It handles better than almost anything I've driven, and for the price, your not gonna find anything that will out handle this car. I'm sure you think that this car is beat up from racing and i can assure its not. I originally built this planning on doing Auto Cross in it but it ended up just being my daily driver.
Over the years only a few issues have poped up. I want you to know because alot of people won't tell you whats wrong with the car, i feel this is really dishonest and i don't wanna rip anyone off. NONE OF THE PROBLEMS EFFECT ITS RELIABILITY OR PERFORMANCE!!!!
1) The ac currently doesn't work (but we live in Colorado, who needs ac anyways) - This is because after i fixed the AC compressors problem of not fitting on the stock mounting bracket and falling down to the road. The dealership undid the mounts i had for it and it ended up haveing a small hole punctured in the bottom of the AC compressor.
2) The 2 back windows are off there track. The motors still work but the glass isn't on the peace that moves them up and down. Currently i Have them held up but you'll need to have someone take the door apart and put them on there tracks. This won't cost much at all or you can do it your self for free.
Please send me an E-mail if you would like to test drive it or you would like more information. I really do know this car inside and out and would be happy to answer any questions. Serious inquires only please.
